A common example: Joe is involved in a car accident and is taken to a hospital. The hospital sends bills for the cost of Joe’s treatment to his healthcare insurance company. That insurance company pays the bills. In fact, either Joe’s car insurance carrier or the carrier of another party in the accident is responsible for the costs of Joe’s care. Subrogation is the doctrine that supports this recovery; subrogation claims recovery is the process by which this doctrine is enforced. What does it mean that we’re focused solely on this work? Companies who do many different types of cost management cannot be as focused on subrogation claims recovery as we are. It is our sole focus, and we are passionate about it. All our staff is trained, experienced and focused in this single core
competency. |
What does independent mean? Many subrogation firms are owned by very large insurance companies, and their priorities are to serve their owners, not other clients. What does largest mean? We represent HMOs, insurance companies, self-insured corporations, TPAs, PHOs, IPAs, and MSOs that cover over six million lives. No other firm like ours covers nearly that many lives. We recover more dollars and more dollars per life than any other firm like ours. Why? Other pages in this site describe how we work, who we are and the standards to which we work. Together, these things give us a competitive advantage in the market which works to our client’s advantage. |
